By accessing and using FinePrint Buster ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the Service.

FinePrint Buster is an AI-powered contract analysis tool designed to help users identify risky clauses in legal documents, terms of service, privacy policies, and other agreements. The Service is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice.

2. Description of Service

FinePrint Buster provides the following services:

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without prior notice.

3. User Accounts and Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:

Paid subscriptions automatically renew each month unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. No refunds will be provided for partial months or unused analyses.

We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect existing subscriptions until the next renewal period.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

Upload documents containing illegal content or that violate third-party rights
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the AI models or algorithms
Use automated systems or bots to access the Service
Resell, redistribute, or commercialize the Service without authorization
Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
Collect or store personal data about other users

Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate termination of your account without refund.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by FinePrint Buster and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain all rights to the documents you upload to the Service. By uploading documents, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process and analyze those documents for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not claim ownership of your documents and will not use them for any purpose other than providing analysis results to you.

The analysis results, risk assessments, and reports generated by our AI are provided to you for your personal or business use. You may not resell or redistribute these results as a commercial service without our written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

The results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable
The AI analysis will identify all risky clauses or potential issues in your documents
Any errors in the Service will be corrected

Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service
Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
Any content obtained from the Service
Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content
Reliance on analysis results provided by the Service

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

8. Data Privacy and Security

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

Documents you upload are analyzed in real-time and are not permanently stored on our servers after analysis is complete, unless you choose to save them to your account history. Saved analyses are stored securely and can be deleted at any time through your account settings.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to breach of these Terms.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease, and any data associated with your account may be deleted.

All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless FinePrint Buster and its licensors, employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from:

Your use of and access to the Service
Your violation of any term of these Terms
Your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property or privacy rights
Any claim that your uploaded content caused damage to a third party

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If negotiation fails to resolve the dispute within 30 days, either party may pursue resolution through binding arbitration or litigation.

You agree to waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration against FinePrint Buster.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect through email notification or a prominent notice on our Service.

By continuing to access or use the Service after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you must stop using the Service.

14. Severability
